The Darley shop and pavilion are community owned and run by Steve and his team at Crimple Valley Fresh. It is your shop… and relies on hard-work and support!
The shop aims to stock a good range of fresh produce and basic supplies. The team also offers a home delivery service. For more information, visit
The café provides a selection of hot and cold drinks, freshly made sandwiches, pastries and homemade soups, to either eat in or take-away. Seating is available both inside and outside.
If you are part of a walking or cycling group, or placing a larger food order, we recommend calling ahead.

The Post Office provides the following services: postage and collection of parcels (including Amazon and DPD) as well as Post Office banking.

Our sports pitch is currently used by football teams, Nidd United and Darley Dynamites.

Children’s Playground
Darley Village Playground enjoys picturesque views and access to the cafe and amenities. It offers a range of equipment for younger children, as well as a basketball training area. It has been recently updated with a timber adventure trail.

ANNUAL DARLEY PETANQUE COMPETITION
Entries are now closed for this year’s Darley Pétanque Competition, 2026. In its fourth year, the competition is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever, with 50 teams taking part.
A big thank you to Nigel Nicholas for his continued hard work in organising the event!
After a nail-biting finals day last year, Howard and Amanda Whittaker deservedly took home the Geoff & Kath Hall Trophy.
We are excited to announce that the groups are now drawn and matches underway.
The group stage shall run until Sunday 12th July 2026. The finals day is scheduled for Sunday August 30th 2026.
